CASTING MEXICO - Filming in Mexico will start after 15th of March 2015.

Outside of Hermanos Soler Theatre in El Parque de los Venados, Mexico City, Mexico, 18 people are working overtime to find extras for James Bond film "SPECTRE" (2015), starring Daniel Craig.

The final filtering is going to happen next week when the production team travels from London to Mexico City to choose those extras who will get a part in the film.

Director of casting, Julio Toledo says: "We are looking for Mexicans of all types, from all social classes, all size of people and all kind of skin color groups" 

Participants are expected to be available in the second half of March, when Daniel Craig and the crew will start filming the movie in Mexico. "Before that there will be more things to do like costume tests," Julio said. He has been responsible for recruiting extras in Mexico for movies like "Troy", "Get the Gringo", "Dragon Ball Z" and "Elysium".

According to The Official James Bond 007 Website, the Jaguar C-X75, the Range Rover Sport SVR and bespoke vehicle Defender ‘Big Foot’ are set to feature in "SPECTRE" (2015). The C-X75 is set to take part in a spectacular chase through Rome alongside the Aston Martin DB10.

It remains to be seen will all the planned Rome car chase scenes be filmed in Rome and what is the role of the Blenheim Palace with the cars.

Mexico’s Day of the Dead festival is one of the most important cultural events in the Mexican calendar. The day might sound a little morbid but it’s actually a very beautiful and complicated event. It is all about honoring the dead with food, flowers, candles, parades, decorative masks, sugar skulls and dancing skeletons. It’s also a time for reflection for those for those who have recently lost a loved one, or a time of demonstration for groups with a political agenda raising awareness about tragic events.
